Safed Musli a cash crop in Southern USA?

Hello,

I have become curious about the feasibility of growing Safed Musli commercially in the southern part of the USA. Many farmers there (far from me) are trying to overcome their loss of income due to the sharp decline in the American tobacco market. Although Safed Musli is evidently not addictive, it seems to have much potential for small family farms. Very little
is understood about this plant's requirements, cautions, cultivation, etc in
North America. Your help will be most appreciated.

Safed musli

Safed musli belongs to family-Lilliaceae.Its short duration herb grows for 80-100days. Underground tubers are important and used as aphrodisiac herb in Indian Syatem of Medicine. It is also considered as a good sex tonic. It can be a good component in food suppliments.Main species that is considered valuable is Chlorophytum borivilianum.
Musli is a labour intensive crop, hence may become a choice crop among small holders. Since I worked extensively on cultivation as pects of musli, I am giving here some of references of my own work and also of others. If you could manage to go through these u can have lot of idea about the plant and its cultivation.
