Rose farming

Dear members,

Im planning to start rose cultivation in a few months time. In this regard, I wanted advice on the following aspects:
1) What is the approximate wholesale price of roses? I understand that this is around Rs0.50 per rose. Please confirm this.
2) I intend to supply these roses to herbal companies. Please advise on steps to be taken.
3) What is the cost required per rose bed?
4) What is the approximate number of rose bushes that i can plant in a one acre land? How many flowers can one tree yield per day?
5) What is the price per rose plant? And from which vendor can i get the best quality roses?
6) I need to fit dippers for my roses. What is the approximate cost for fitting them?
7) What are the organic and chemical fertilisers that one must use for roses and approximate cost?

Hello Sir,

CAn we know the purpose for which you would like to cultivate roses. If it is for cut flowers then you have different varieties, if it is for oil extraction it has different varieties. Depending on the end use i can give you the answers for the the questions.

Rose

Fragrant roses for whole sale market is termed as deshi rose. Its easy to cultivate and the additional benefit is that when the rates are high in market for fresh one, go for selling them in market.And as soon as prices plummate and reaches below Rs.10/kg,get the flowers dry and sell them as dry petal for whic plenty of market exists.If u need further details ,send mail.
