Please let us know the precautions to be taken in banana plantation.

1. Banana requires lots of water, hence water availability throughout the year is imp.
2. Selection of correct variety
3. Purchase seedling/ banana plants for verified and trusted farmers or dealers
4. Care to be taken during sowing of banana plants, sowing should be done on flat land and later beds should be raised
5. Weeding to be controlled in the initial 4 months
6. Double dripline is preferable
7. Try more bio fertilizers at initial stages
