Hello experts,

I am new to farming and I have 10 acer's of farming land in Odisa.

Summer temprature goes till 40 to 45 degree celsius and in winter it falls down to 20 to 30 degree celsius.

Is it a wise decision to start pomegranate on my area?

If yes please help me to get some more information of cultivation process and pest control through organic way.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate trees usually grow in tropical areas. As a matter of fact, they particularly favor being under the full blast of the sun. The warm sunlight is one of the big factors of the production of its fruits and flowers. However, if they are planted in areas where sunlight is not that abundant or with only partial sunlight, the production of their fruits and flowers will be affected. The fruits and flowers will likely be scarce and small. This is the very explanation why pomegranate trees are mostly appropriate in places with hot summers.
Therefore, since the climatic conditions prevailing in your region are not extreme, you can enter into Pomegranate cultivation without any apprehensions. We can assist you further with all the relevant information whenever you decide.
