The hatcher capability is from 88eggs to 20000eggs per time.

Ostrich Farming
Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandary Department has a Ostrich Farm near Chennai. They were keep promoting, but no takers yet.
Ostrich Farming is no different from Emu Farming. Unless we find the successful end-use of Ostriches, like meat sales, there is no point of looking into it. Moreover, Number of Eggs laid per year is less in Ostrich (avg. 12 Eggs per season), than Emu (avg. 25 Eggs per Season). It may not be commercially successful, unless the Emu/Ostrich Meat is made popular in Indian Consumer Minds.

The Government ostrich farm near chennai - Kattupakkam still hasn't started to promote ostrich farming, they are just breeding them currently and supplying to zoos, its yet to get into commercial breeding farms.
