why...no organised dairy farms..?
Dear all,
our experience says, the dairy farming in india is very un-organised. we can see lot of associations in various manufacturing/activities i.e hotelier's association, educational institutions association, film chamber association etc.,
But, we can't see in dairy farms association....the reasons may be 1000... their is a one natiional level association....but it is under controle of all co-operatives as well as govt. owned organisations. In , yearly once held 5 star conference ,except all dairy farms issues will be discussed colorfuly. presentations will be carried out by AMUL,NDDB,NABARD,NDRI,Foriegn/multinational companies delegates...those who never know what is the in reality the ground dificulties/challenges of a dairy farm enterpreuner's ( particularly not farmers ...because they can be satisfied or their reuirements can be fulfilled from the concerned co-operatives in a short ways) . The fun of that association is they can't clarify about :
1) who is going to monitor or controle the feeds formulation/rate in the open market.
2) how to fix the milk rates after considering the input costs.
3) how to localise the equipments availability and mechanisation of dairy farms to challenge century old methods n myths.
4) how to create the price difference as well as the awareness about the desi cows milk as well as the organic milk and milk products.
5) to-day availability of good veterians, trained secondary and low level of labour/staff availability (other than junk public/govt. facilities) is no one bothered. (just , imagine for 5 of our own families owning a doctors, surgeons, nurses, hospital in society , how much difficult and cost)
6) introduction of computers/software of user friendly at cheaper/subsidized rates to arrest the too complexed data storing and understanding.
7)very un-organised /cheating open markets in purchasing of cows.
8)some of the facilities, sleeping in the organisations files like quality assured siemen, testing of diseases, vaccinations, insurance policies finally the equiments i.e flasks, chillers, cow handling euquipments..etc.,
9) Finally, the dairy farming eterpreuners never comes under (i.e. more than 10 animals dairy) in any of schems/subsidies/facilities. This points out very clearly discourage of medium(11-100 & 101-200 &201-500) scale dairy farms to make comfort of either tobe two cow owner or multinationals/politicians/mafia's owned companies dairy farms to either for geting the votes or to convert the black money very methodically to white.
Finally, because of global warming and changing environmental conditions we are geting into short of power, water, rains etc., are very much causing to damage the dairy farms since those are very much matters in dairy farming.
Instead of working in dairy dedicatedely the labourer will be getting free ration as well as fancy work under govt. programmes.
with all these few remembered ,samples and presented points will be indicate you that how many organised dairies u can count in state as well as in national level.
Until the policies of our nation drafted properly to aupport/benefit/encourage right peoples/professionals/farmers/organisations/enterpreuners to self sustain and contribute to society as well as nation this question can't be answered proudly.
thanks and regards,
