This is senthil from cuddalore district.i would like to start small dairy farm with 10 cows.I donot know any idea about this.I want some details for below reference.

1.How much money and land required?
2.How to make infrastruture for cows?
3.How can select cows for more profit and whre can i purcjase this full profitable cows?
4.how can apply loan for this project?

Hello Senthil,
For 25 cows, 5acres for green fodder cultivation is the thumb rule. Apart from it 400gms of concentrate for every litre of milk for milking cows. Good breeds are Jercy & HF. Approach your nearest bank in your locality. Avg. interest should be 12%.
