need to start goat farming

* am planning of starting goat farming in my land near doddaballapur taluk bangalore district.

i have a 9 acre agricultural land with good water resource...can anyone guide me about the initial cost to start this and also about the number of goats i can start my mission with?????

how much can i rely on it when it comes to income....wat capital do i need to start it on medium scale????

which breed can you suggest for my local environment?????
please people help me out with this. its urgent n am seriously interested in doing this.

Goat farming

Whenever I see any post for need of starting goat farm,i wish to advice them not to do it,if your's is hard earned money.You will hardly get anything,other than headaches.So many advicers will give you sugar coated promises and will show you dreams,which ar eall lie and there is no truth in it.I am telling this from my own experience.Rest is your wish.

Do you mean that no body who owns a goat farm are doing goog and not benefited form the same. If you are saying this out of your own experience. kindly share your experience with us, i'm one such person who is half way thru in starting my own goat farm. I would really appreciate if you post your experience, it not that i want to read and move away from the idea, but its that i want to learn the takeaways from that.
