Chennai is very hot for rooftop country chicken farming. Unless you provide them proper shelter from heat, the success will be less.

Have you head of Broadway (Kozhi Market). In this place, every sunday, they sell all types of animals including country chicken. You can give a visit there and see for yourselves.
