need consultancy on teak plantation

hello,
i have 10 acres of forest land with me mid way of lonavala and pune.
i want to plant teak saplings for which i need expert consultancy with all the necessary follow up.anyone who has the details legal as well as argricultural kindly email me , need to get the idea which would decide my future course of action. thanks in advance-shekhar soni

Dear Mr. Shekhar,

If you have forest land, I would advice you to plant " Bamboo" instead of Teak wood. Both the plants are approved by forest Dept. but Bamboo grows very fast and starts giving income within 5-6 years, where as Teak-wood takes minimum 15 years,and you have to take a permission of Forest Dept. to cut and transport it. Bamboo has very good demand in market , it can easily be chemically treated on the field which will last for 12 yo 15 years.There are so many other advantages of cultivating Bamboo.
