We have our 4 acres farm near Gobichettipalayam . We plan to take up hybrid coconut cultivation. We have good water source.
I am now in the process of identifying a suitable hybrid variety.
I am considering TxD and DxT varieties. I am not considering tall varieties due to various known reasons like labor problems in plucking and maintenance etc.
Please let me know the good varieties and the expected yield for both TxD and DxT varieties.
Also, which variety is better for cultivation and yields more profit - Tender coconut varieties or general variety for matured coconuts or dual purpose varieties?
