Just get the information from TNAU Agritech Portal :: Home site.

Invest in Drip Irrigation and fencing as well. No need to clean the land. Start providing manures (fertilizers around the base of the mango tree and it should be at the end of the tree)

Have you decided on the type (Organic vs Chemical)?

You can also involve a consultant if the charges are reasonable. Get quote from multiple sources and the action plan from them and decide.

Hi,
I recently purchased 3.5 acre farm in shoolagiri, Hosur.. Land has got 200 mango plantations of badami variety. Trees are 12 year old.

Mr.Padmanaban could you pls share some ideas to maintain the plants .. Do you have any consultants contact number..

We are also getting inquiries for contract. Is it safe to give plants on contract basis ??

How much can i get if i give it on contract?.. what is the procedure?..

Kindly share your number or call me on 7353550100

We have a small hobby farm of around 3000 mango trees, my suggestion will be to go with organic plantation.
Select hybrid varieties (consult horticulture director of your locality) and test out each variety you wish to plant don't just take anyone's word for it. Only if you are a real mango lover else just go with commercial options.
Make sure to keep a distance of 18 feet between each tree all sides when planting and plant Neem trees around the boundary of the farm.

Drip Irrigation is good option saves water highly recommend it, also you must buy tractor for regular cleaning unless you have a team of labours.... if you want to know more let me know ;)
