this is ganesh from hyderabad, would be intrested to know more details about lemon grass oil ie cultivation climatic condition and type of soil, i am having 5 aceres of land in hyd right now in cultivation of macka and rice

Dear Mr.Ganesh

Cultivation of Lemon grass in just 5acrs is not viable and advisable. If you want to cultivate it, either yourself or a nearby distillery is must to take oil. To establish distillation unit, you must go either single or double distillation units. Though you would like to establish a distillation unit, crop from 5acrs is not enough. So think twice before you gonna opt it. Surely it will grow in your area and climatic conditions are absolutely supporting.
