Information on Bananna Plantation

Hello,

I have planted Bananna plants of G9 around 2800 plants recently week ago and made drip Irrigation. I need the information about plant duration,fertilizers application and how to take care to yeild more.

Please help in these regards.

Dear Shivakumar,

Banana has a production span of about 12 months and it is very crucial to look after the plant from day one if not results are not upto the mark.Now you have already planted a week ago and anybody who helps you with technicalities has to keep visiting your farm once in fortnight and keep adjusting fertigation depending on growth and response.if anybody gives you some figures of fertilizer it is highly inaccurate approach, next is disease and pest management which is also similar.
You fix a consultant quickly may be within a week and he may fix the issues and you can plan 60 % results as some damage has been done to planning process by now.

I also suggest to go in for another 3 to 4000 plants under the supervision of a good consultant to make the project more interesting.
