HOW TO import SEEDS?

I m a farmer......
Can i import seeds from other contries in small amount ?
For importing seeds in small amount required any permition or licence?

Which seeds are u planning to import and from which companies..indian or abroad..and which location.

At present, the import of living plants, seeds or other plant materials is
governed by the Special Licensing Procedure.
All imports of seeds, plant materials etc. are regulated under the Plants,
Fruits and Seeds (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 1984.

i am also interested in knowing that if i want to import a small quantity of seeds like 50gms to 500gms for my garden. can i buy online from these international companies or do i need special permission for the same.

u can directly send them mail online or contact them through phone no, for garden purpose there is no need to take permission.
