Hi there,

I have 6 acre land in uttranchal and i want to start my own work in my vacant land. I am thinking about some work like: POULTRY FARM, GOAT FARMING, VEGETABLES ETC. And my question is that how much money i put on this business and details of bank loan or guarantee and suitable market for selling egg, goat and vegetables in hillstations.

I can be help for you when it comes to Poultry as I am a IPMT(institute for poultry management and technology, Pune) student. The first things to start the poultry farm is to decide which type you wanna venture into. Theres a layer farming(commercial and breedres), Broiler(commercial and Breeders), and Hatchery. Commercial broiler farming generates money quickly, takes only 45 days after the investment. You have to decide what capacity is best for you and what is the size of the market, this decides the investment.
Other factor which decides the investment is the type of sheds(poultry house) you wanna prepare.
