Guide to start farming of aromatic/medicinal plants farming.

I want to start farming of aromatic/medicinal like lemon grass,citronella etc.plants to earn more income than from traditional farming. Having 2 acres land in muzaffarnagar district of uttar pradesh.
Pls suggest me such plants and details of expenses,process,marketing and income accordingly.

The costt of a steam distillation unit is more than 4 lakh and for a very small land holding of anythg less than 20 acres setting up your own unit is not advisable. instead contact CIMAP lucknow and inquore about an existing unit near your farm where you can get your oil distilled for a nominal cost.
