Goat Market/ sandai/ sandy/seling point in Tamilnadu?

Dear All,

I am planning to start Goat farm.

I have come across some Goat/sheep markets below in Tamilnadu to analyze the market needs.

The below are the Goat markets/sandy/selling point where goats are sold in large numbers..

1. Pochampali goat market (on Sundays) - All type of Goats - Jamunapari, tellicherry, etc.. and Sheeps
2. Ettayapuram goat markets (On Saturdays) - Native Breeds (Kodi, Kanni goats) and Sheeps.
3. Kanivadi Goat market (on Fridays) - Sheeps and Native cross breeds
4. Kundarapalli Goat market (on Fridays) - All type of Goats - Jamunapari, tellicherry, etc..and Sheeps

I like to know is the any other Goat markets where Goats are sold in large numbers? Please advice if you know any other Goat markets?

Also you can inquire to your nearby butchers for selling your goats.Remember butchers buys only small goats which will have tender meat,butchers will not buy goats weighing above 20kg,as these goats will not have tender meat.Nearby local markets are best to sale the goats for meat purpose.
