Hello,
I am Arvind plannind a small dairy farm with 20 buffloes and 10 cows, I have 1 Acre of agricultural land near village on roadside. Where, how and how much I can get financial help to start?

Hello sir,
generally 25 to 50 percent subsidy is provided by department of animal husbandry in all state, slightly varies with state (policy matter) you may please visit nearest veternary department for the details. all nationalized banks provide loan to dairy projects and they expect your contribution also then looking to your project they will finance your venture. ruffly one lakh per cow is the expenditure that includes infrastructure also.

I am thankful for your quick reply. 1 lakh per cow is the expenditure as u told. Can it be lower? I have 1 acre of agriculture land of my own. Please suggest how to lower the cost and where to get the cattle best addapted in the climate of Baghpat UP which is at the distance of 40 KM from Delhi and 28 Km from Merrut city in UP.
