To start a dairy farm, first of all you decide how many animals do you want to rear?.The cost of construction of shed depends on this aspect as well as quaility of construction material which you want to use.Now a days ,cattle especially Holstein frisean cross has a price of 16 thousand onwards(One litre has 1000-1300 rupees.)& buffalo of Murrah or Mehsana has price of 30 thousand onwards.For construction of shed for one square feet Rs.450-500/- are required so you need to decide which material to be used for shed.If you will produce green & dry fodder on your own farm then you will get minimum profit than wholy purchased fodder.
For all these things ,you can take training before starting your dairy entreprise from nearest department of animal husbandary or Krishi Vigyan kendras.
