Hi Ratnesh,

It is always advisable to work in dairy farm practically, but before that have some theory classes which are conducted by reputed dairy research institutes / KVKs / animal husbandry departments for a week.
Then you will get confidence to work in the dairy farm. Later you can think of starting a dairy farm.
NDRI (National Dairy Research Institute at Karnal and South Region campus at Bengaluru are offering the courses. You can contact them or contact me I will give you the details.

Establish Dairy Farm

Dear Sir,

Basically i am from farmers' family. I want to Establish dairy farm. I have 5 aceres of land in my village with full of water facility. Kindly guide me to start the farm.

a) what are the good breeds of cows & buffellows.
b) which bank is giving loans.
c) is there any books on dairy.
