Crop suggestion required

Hi,
Planing to hire 2Acers of land with water facility in Kankapura-Bangalore,
I would like know which cultivation I can go for, as I employed , which need moderate observation, I have any idea of Papaya cultivation, is this the good choice or can anyone suggest a better one.
