i have 25 acres of land and i want to plant trees as a source of income. the land depends on rain water but it lies in kokan region of maharashtra so there is water for 8 months a year. the land is near a water body. if any one interested contact me urg.

Some confusion in your post for me.
What you mean by "nilgiri plantation"? you told the land is in Konkan.

To increase the ground water level there are techniques like make one feet square holes in the land. so you will have water for 12 months.
