The area is good for essential oil crops like palmarosa, jamarosa and lemongrass which require less care and can last for 5 yrs. Average net return per acre per yr can be 20-30k.

please contact me ......the best thing currently in AP is do pomegranate...we have sucessfully doing in 300 acres and there is lot of export potential ......to countries like israel etc...i can help you thanks

Dear all,

If your area is receiving around 750 mm of rainfall per year you can cultivate 'Bamboo' OR "Teak-Wood" which doesn't require any attention, water, Fertilizers nor Pesticides and gives very good yield / Returns. This comes under forest department and they will provide you saplings from their Nursery
you will get subsidy from Government on it.

For value addition you can make diff. artifacts , Furniture from Bamboo , or you can chemically treat it to last for 12 to 15 years and sell at higher price. Today Bamboo is in very good demand.
