Basmati Rice Cultivation

Hello geeks,
I am novice in agriculture, I am in to IT, but want to put off that Job and want to continue with my forefathers legacy in Agriculture.

Start with,I am from Telangana region in Andhra pradesh, I want to experiment with Basmathi Rice cultivation. Not sure if this can be cultivated in our region.

Could some give me some pointers to get more info like ..
where to get seeds ?
Cultivation method ?
Land type to cultivate?

basumati rice cultivation

Dear sir,
pls visit Acharya N.G.Ranga university of agriculture science, hyderabad u can cultivate basumati but floavour will not be same of panjab or pakistan but u can cultivate pls visit the office and find seeds and information.
