banana leaf curling

can colleagues/officers suggest the remedy for curly leaf
our plant is 25 days old now but the new leaf coming out is curled by old leafs either by both side or by one side . is this a disease of defincienty in nutrients etc. what is the remedy .
these are nedran and robusta . if required can send photos .
though we prefer bio controls all inputs are welcome.

This may be a disease bunchy top virus not leaf curl. you can follow following remedies
-Rogue and remove diseased plants.
-Control insect vectors through insecticides. Fortnightly sprays of Endrin (0.02%) or Diaxinon (0.03%) reduce the aphid significantly.
- Dimethoate and Phorate granules @ 50g and 25g as plant base and leaf axil application respectively are highly effective in controlling the aphid vector.
- Injecting systemic chemicals like Methyl demeton @ 0.05- 0.2ml /plant at 3-4 weeks intervals reduce the vector population considerably.
