Dr. Avudainayagam Subramanian is Retired Principal of PGP College of Agricultural Sciences in Namakkal Dist ,Tamil Nadu, He is interested in the concept of bioavilable fraction of the heavy metals in soil and its behaviour in relation to the soil properties. The charge of ions have an influence on the adsorption and desorption of heavy metals in soil and pH have a greater role in retention and release of ions.
