Solar radiations coming from sun are captured and converted to heat energy for meeting thermal energy requirements of various useful activities.there are many more solar cooking appliances to choose from depending on one's need, interest and budget.

Solar-thermal systems are particularly efficient in industries that require the use of low-temperature water (i.e. 40 - 80 0C )

In industrial applications there are some cases in which the penetration of the thermal-solar systems can be particularly substantial. These are industries which have relatively low energy consumption and the energy derived from the thermal-solar system substitutes an important part of conventional fuels in their energy balance.
These industries are the following:

  • Food industry (dairy products, frozen products, meat processing industries, sweets, olive oil etc.)
  • Agriculture (kilns, nurseries, greenhouses, slaughterhouses, meat processing, stockbreeding installations etc.)
  • Textile industry (tonnages, leather processing, dyers etc.)
  • Chemical industry (cosmetics, detergents, wax, pharmaceuticals, tires etc.)
  • Beverage industry (wineries, distilleries, breweries etc.)
  • Community cooking (Mess,gurudwara,religious places)

Solar thermal implementation comes with following benefits
  • Saves drastically on ever increasing fuel cost
  • Eliminates of CO2. Help avoids stringent law implications
  • 80% depreciation in 1st year itself under section 32 of Income Tax Act, 1956
  • Subsidy to the tune of 50% on Steam Cooking System from MNES
  • Fast payback
  • Revenue/Income can start from 2ndyear itself by way of saving the fuel cost
  • Helps in creating a Green Image

I would also like to introduce our organization, , a consultancy and project development firm involved in sustainable development, clean energy and climate change realted projects. We have extensive experience in solar thermal application and are currently many projects in different industries.
